A one-time National Chairman of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Victor Umeh says 2023 is the appropriate time for the South-East geopolitical zone to produce the President of the country following the principles of rotation of power in Nigeria.

 

Chief Umeh stated this during an interview with the ABS at his country home, Aguluzoigbo in Anaocha Local Government Area.

The former National Chairman of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance maintained that 2023 is a year that the South Eastern part of Nigeria should produce the President for the interest of a united nation, justice and to forestall disintegration.

 

He disclosed that south easterners have highly qualified competitive people that can provide leadership to Nigeria at the highest order, adding that Igbos are highly capable of managing and reengineering the economy of Nigeria.

 

Chief Umeh who pointed that one of the problems of Nigeria is bad leaders and management of the economy, described the Igbo people as wealth creators and managers of resources, hence be given the chance, which will be good for all.

 

Chief Umeh outlined many challenges bedeviling the nation, including distrusts, agitations, insecurity and other myriads of problems including high cost of living and educational collapse.

He added that the Igbos have been marginalized in all sectors of the nation which have continued to weigh them down in national affairs.

 

Chief Umeh pointed out Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi and others in the South-East as People who have the capacity to turnaround the economy from a consumption economy to production economy and as well revolutionized activities of the government.
