Anambra state government has reiterated call on individuals to partner government in providing infrastructural development in the state.
The Commissioner for Women Affairs Mrs Ify Obinabo made the call when he received an Awka born Philanthropist Mr Mmaduaburochukwu Atta in her office at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development center, Awka.
According to the Commissioner, there are lots of government properties and projects that are dilapidated and need to be rehabilitated like the Mental People Rehabilitation Home at Nteje as well as equipping the home with food stuff, developing land at Umunze procured for the purposes of building correctional center for children in the state.
Mrs Obinabo said government is ready to work with any individual and organisations interested in helping out with the development of the state in any way, and will also make known to the public the contribution of such individuals.
She advised well-meaning Ndi Anambra to join hands with the government to build a livable homeland.
Earlier, the philanthropist Mr Atta said his reason for the visit was to know areas he can be of help to the state government.
Mr Atta promised to rehabilitate the mental rehabilitation home at Nteje and also provide them with food stuffs.
He commended Governor Soludo for the steps he has taken to ensure that Anambra is clean and peaceful, calling on all hands to be on deck to ensure that the Governor’s aims are achieved.
