The member representing Orumba South Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Emma Nwafor has said the 2022 Anambra State revised budget will fast track rapid development of the State.
The Lawmaker gave the assurance while speaking with journalists after presentation of the 2022 revised budget to Anambra State House of Assembly by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Honourable Nwafor observed that the revised budget which is about one hundred and seventy billion naira is aimed at bringing the budget to reflect economic realities and meet the pressing needs of Ndi Anambra.
He applauded the budgetary allocation to road infrastructure from twenty-one billion to fifty-one billion naira as it will enable the state government to provide high standard roads in the state.
The Lawmaker commended Governor Soludo for increasing the community choose your project initiative to twenty-five million naira, adding that it will bring rapid development to the hinterlands.
On his part, the member representing Awka South Two Constituency, Honourable Chukwuma Okafor noted that Governor Soludo has started on a good note by allocating huge resources to areas of need, assuring that his constituency will give him all the necessary support to succeed.
