Anambra State Ministry of Education in collaboration with Universal Basic Education Commission has embarked on biometric capturing of school children.
The Commissioner for Education Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh who disclosed this in Awka, explained that the exercise was for planning purposes.
Professor Chuma-Ude said this would enable various intervention programmes targeted at every school child in Anambra State so as to achieve the desired goals.
The Commissioner had earlier received proprietors of private schools who pledged total support to Governor Soludo’s Education policies and programmes.
