The Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has advised Nigerian public university students who are observing the strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to use the period to learn dependable skills.

The Education Commissioner gave the advice while interacting with journalists at Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe.

The Commissioner said that being on strike does not call for the students to roam the streets thereby engaging in antisocial activities and promoting youth restiveness.

Professor Chuma-Udeh, urged them to engage in one skill or the other which would be part of them whenever they return to school.
