The Acting Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze, has assured members of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria,RATTAWU, ABS Awka chapter of adequate support.
Mr. Okpalaeze, who gave the assurance when members of the union paid him a courtesy visit at ABS headquarters Awka, said his team is working hard to settle check off dues of the union, as well as create a conducive environment for the workers in the establishment.
He explained the challenges of the ABS and urged members of RATTAWU to source revenue to be able to take care of the running costs of the establishment.
In his remark, the ABS, Awka chapter Chairman of RATTAWU, Mr. Ebele Ugonna, thanked the Acting Managing Director of ABS for his warm reception, and pledged their full support and cooperation towards the betterment of the organization and the union.
The State Chairman of RATTAWU, Mrs Maureen Stone Enujioke, Secretary, Mr. Daniel Ekwueme, Assistant Secretary, Mrs. Prisca Nwankwo, Public Relations Officer, Mr. Obiajulu Sokei, among others, joined during the visit.
