With successful conduct of Senatorial primary election for the three senatorial districts in the State, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, yesterday concluded its primaries for the 2023 general elections.

The elections, which took place at designated venues in the State, recorded successes, according to observers.

A stop at the APGA headquarters Awka at about eleven in the morning revealed that a delegation of the National Assembly Election Committee from Abuja had already started sorting both sensitive and nonsensitive materials under the supervision of INEC officials.

Addressing Returning Officers for the exercises, the APGA National Assembly Election Committee Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Carefor, advised them to work strictly with the stipulated guideline of APGA and the electoral law.

He enjoined them to guard jealously the image of the party by conducting themselves creditably in the discharge of their duties, warning them to use only approved Adhoc list and duly signed result sheets for the exercise.

On his part, the Assistant Returning Officer for Anambra Central Senatorial zone election, Chief Nnanna Nzewi, described the APGA primaries in Anambra as a huge success and extolled the stellar performance of the committee members on national assignment in the State.
