The Archbishop Ecclesiastical province of the Niger and Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim has charged Christians to have absolute faith and trust in God in their kingdom race.

 

In a message to members of the Anglican Youth fellowship in the Diocese of Awka who observed their youth Sunday at Saint Peter’s Parish Amawbia in Awka south Local Government Area Most Reverend Ibezim urged Christians not to allow anything deny them the kingdom of God.

 

He regretted the high rate of Immorality in the society, including armed robbery, kidnappings, ritual murder and banditry and called on the Government to place high premium on the security of life and property to guarantee the safety of Nigerians where ever they are.

 

Most Reverend Ibezim whose message was delivered by the Archdeacon of Amawbia Archdeaconry and Vicar of Saint Peters Parish Amawbia Venerable Vincent Nkemdilm, called on the Youths to always follow positive steps of their parents, in addition to remembering their various home churches.

 

Archbishop Ibezim who described youths as future of the society charged them to learn skills and career that will create a bright future for them.

 

The Anglican Prelate cautioned Christians against having excess luggage in running the heavenly race, urging them to be focused in everything they do.

 

Most Reverend Ibezim who maintained that God always has a plan for those he chooses, advised Christians not to neglect the fellowship of the Saints.

 

One of the youth leaders, Miss Angus Chisom who decried the negative impact of the social media on the Youths, called for its proper regulation.

 

The service featured a special prayer for the State, the nation and those in leadership positions, as well as a debate on the merits and de merits of social media in the society.
