Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointment of Mazi Ejimofor Opara as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New Media.
Until his appointment, Mazi Opara was a principal Partner at Spruce Media Ltd, a media and advocacy consultancy firm.
Born on July 11th, 1988, Ejimofor holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and Anthropology (2011), a Masters degree in Medical Sociology(2015), and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (in -view) medical sociology from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, with interests in Nigerian/African Traditional/ Herbal Medicines Development; Women and Men Reproductive Challenges; Policy formation and Social Development Advocacy for Home-grown Development Strategies.
Mazi Ejimofor is also well published. A few of his researches and publications include:

Awards and prices include Rotaract Club of Nnamdi AzikiweUniversity, District 9140 as Best Orator in 2011, Faculty of Social Science Students’ Association, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Founding Members Performance in 2012, Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Students’ Association Award of Excellence Performance in 2011, among others.
