The Chaplain, Saint Alloysius Gonzaga Chaplaincy, Ukwulu, Reverend Father Nicholas Okekeocha has called on Christians to embrace hospitality and oneness as directed by Jesus Christ.

Reverend Father Okekeocha, who made the call in a homily at the church reminded Christians that hospitality is a virtue demonstrated by Abraham and Martha in the scripture.

He explained that hospitality is one of the practical ways of showing love to people and prophesying Christ, adding that they go with rewards.

Reverend Father Okekeocha further asked the parishioners to spend times with God, without abandoning their responsibilities at home.

At Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church, Abagana, the Vicar, Venerable Samuel Asaa, said obedience to God and his words will help one gain eternal life.

Venerable Asaa, whose sermon centered on obeying God unconditionally, maintained that through His law, God gave credence to obedience, and that anyone who is obedient to His words has the fear of God and will leave free life.

prayers were offered for peace in the nation at the churches.
