Christians have been advised to be generous and hospitable in every aspect of their lives.

The Chaplain, Holy Family Chaplaincy, Umucheke Umunze, Orumba South Local Government Area, Reverend Father James Nnoruga gave the advice in a sermon during yesterday’s Holy Mass at the Chaplaincy.

Reverend Father Nnoruga, who urged Christians to be hospitable like the biblical Abraham, said by so doing, they are fulfilling the injunction of Jesus Christ in loving all mankind which according to him, has a great reward attached to it.

While explaining the importance of generosity, Reverend Father Nnoruga charged the faithful to also collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVCs, to enable them to exercise their franchise and shun voter apathy.

Reverend Father Nnoruga similarly enjoined Christians to be prayerful, always stay at the feet of Jesus Christ like the saints of the church to be able to survive the current economic downturn and insecurity bedeviling Nigeria.
