The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on youth programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha, has described Governor Soludo’s youth economic plan as a programme designed to equip the youths with skills that will sustain them for life.

 

Dr Omenugha who spoke on ABS interactive programme to mark the 2022 World youth Skills Day in Awka, restated Governor Soludo’s passion for youth empowerment, which he noted will no doubt address youth restiveness and unemployment.

 

He said that Governor Soludo needs corporate bodies to partner the government to empower youths with skills for life.

 

Another guest on the programme, Chief Obi Ochije Modilim, commended Governor Soludo’s youth empowerment plan that will create about five hundred and twenty jobs in information and Communication Technology and agricultural sectors, advising youths to acquire as much skills as they can, for a better life.

 

One of the callers on the programme, Okechukwu from Awka, commended Governor Soludo’s youth empowerment programme and indicated interest to participate on the programme.
