English language has been presumed to be superior to most other languages across the globe.
Speaking on the significance of the language, the Principal of New Era Secondary School Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area, Mrs. Nkiru Enemuo noted that there will be no headway in all spheres of life without English language as people cannot often communicate outside their cultural environment without it.
Mrs. Enemuo opined that there is no disadvantage in learning and speaking English Language as it gives access to free communication and expression.
She stressed the need for one to acquire at least basic education before embarking on any venture, noting that whichever business one wants to engage in, education is vital as one cannot learn English Language without education.
On his part, an educationist, Mr. Sunday Ibeh stated that English language brought the world where it is today and encouraged all to learn English Language especially now that adult education is functional in Anambra State.
Mr. Ibe stated that development, civilization and urbanization hinge on English Language and education, advising people to strive to know how to read, write and speak English Language in order to go far in life.
For Mrs. Chinyere Ezeh, English Language breaks barriers of other local language difficulties.
