The Chairman, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter, Architect Chukwuka Okonkwo says the one hundred and seventy billion naira 2022 appropriation bill signed into law by Governor Chukwuma Soludo will help him to actualize his economic blueprint in the state.

Architect Okonkwo who made this known while exchanging views with the ABS in Awka, commended members of the Anambra State House of Assembly for the speedy passage of the bill, without compromising their legislative duties, checks and balances.

He maintained that the new revised appropriation bill will help the governor to actualize his blueprint as it will reflect the current economic realities in the state and Nigeria as a whole.

Architect Okonkwo who noted that the current hyperinflation, insecurity, hunger and increasing unemployment that pervades the land, has caused every sensitive and people-oriented government to think outside the box and eulogized governor Soludo for being responsive to the yearnings of Ndi Anambra.

On the ongoing government’s efforts to rid the state of touts, illegal revenue collectors, restoration of Onitsha Urban Master Plan, evacuation of waste, among others, Architect Okonkwo appealed to Ndi Anambra to give the governor the desired support for him to excel in the onerous task.
