As the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, marks his sixty-second birthday today, Ndi-Anambra, residents of the state and people from various walks of life have been felicitating with him in diverse ways.
The Anambra State capital, to get people’s reactions reports that Professor Soludo, also known as Charlie Nwamgbafor, hails from Isuofia community in Aguata Local Government Area, and was born on the twenty-eight day of July, 1960.
The Professor of Economics and fifth democratically elected Governor of Anambra State, assumed office on seventeenth March, 2022.
Felicitating with the Governor, some traders at the popular Aroma junction Awka, Mrs Ngozika Agbo, Udochukwu Nnadi, Henry Anozie and Sussanna Adibe, described him as a blessing to Ndi-Anambra.
Others, including Moses Onunze, Promise Chibueze, Uchenna Ofor and Chinedum Onuoha, who are commercial vehicle drivers aand civil servants, appealed to the Governor to construct more roads, tighten security and provide more jobs for the youths.
Some Corp members under Drug Free Community Development Services also wished the Governor Soludo well and chanted birthday songs.
One of them, Mr. Peter Oyelami, thanked the Governor for the enabling environment to serve in the state.
