The oral and written interviews for the over six thousand candidates, who scored sixty percent and above have kicked off.

 

The process, which is in batches, has Saint John of God Secondary School, ASUBEB, and Igwebuike Grammar School, all in Awka as its centers.

Education Correspondent Theophilus Ukoha reports that the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh had earlier met with the examiners to intimate them on the modalities and government yardstick for recruitment.

 

When ABS monitoring crew arrived the three centers, it was observed that the candidates were being screened.

Later in an interview, some of the candidates, including Mr. Solomon Izuchukwu, Mary-Juliet Nnezego, and the Principal, Igwebuike Grammar School, Awka, Mr. Jovita Arazu, expressed delight on seamless process of the exercise and expressed optimism that quality teachers will surely emerge at the end.

 

The oral and written interviews is expected to end on fifth August 2022.
