Addressing newsmen shortly after the demolition , the Managing Director of ACTDA, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa warned government land grabbers to desist forth with, insisting that the agency will not only remove any structure erected on such lands, but will also hold defaulters responsible for covering the costs of such exercises.
Venerable Okwuosa, while stating that government does not enjoy these stringent actions, asked anyone, who wishes to acquire a land to always make thorough inquiries on the land’s ownership to avoid falling prey to fraud and eventual forfeiture.
He noted that the present administration is committed to absolute development system, and urged everyone to support the government to achieve its development vision for the state.
