Anambra State Government will from August one, 2022 conduct a month-long revalidation exercise for hotels, resorts, inns, guest houses and brothels across the state.

A press release signed by the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Mr. Don Onyenji, said the revalidation exercise will be aimed at enabling the ministry to establish a data base of all the operators in the tourism and hospitality industries to ensure standard in-service delivery.

The release quoted Commissioner Onyenji as directing all the operators to revalidate their operational licenses at the ministry of Culture, Entertainment and Tourism at the state secretariat complex in Awka.

According to him, failure to comply within the stipulated time would attract severe sanctions, which he noted may include possible closure of such facility.

The release however reminded operators of the need to work in line with the vision of Governor Soludo to make Anambra State a livable, prosperous and smart mega city.
