Anambra State Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Dr Obinna Ngonadi has called ln leadership of Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA to the be part of disruptive change of the present administration and remain united in supporting the government for meaningful development across the State.
He spoke during a meeting with the Market leaders in Onitsha.
Dr Ngonadi who observed that the State remains the hub for promotion of trade and Commerce in the country, charged them to align efforts with enumeration and inauguration of all the Markets in the State, in line with aiding, Anambra Internal Revenue Service, towards increased revenue generation for the development of the State.
He assured them of government commitment towards improved welfare and disclosed plans for the establishment of health facility across the Markets
Dr Ngonadi advocated stability and sustainable collaboration among the market executives, charging them to initiate peaceful resolutions on intra crisis and other issues that might erupt within themselves and cautioned against the construction of illegal shops in various Markets.
Speaking during the meeting, the President-General ofAnambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association Chief Ikechukwu Ekwegbalu, while pledging their total support for Governor Soludo’s administration in boosting the revenue profile of the State, promised to comply with government directives.
In a remark the President-General of the Building Materials International Market Ogidi, Chief Jude Nwankwo rea-assured the Commissioner of their co-operation.
Present were the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry as well as some Traditional rulers in the State.
