Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, is set to join Pentecostal, Anglican and Catholic Women in this year’s August meeting.

After a weeklong interaction with women groups from different socio-political and religious backgrounds, where she asked them to use the annual assembly to find lasting solutions to rising societal ills, the Governor’s wife will follow up with visits to different Churches, where women are having this year’s August meeting.

The aim of the visits is to celebrate with Anambra women and to ensure that they are using the annual platform to have conversations on issues that affect women, homes and the larger society.

Mrs. Soludo will also use the visits to drive her hygiene and healthy living campaign, the need to invest in lucrative agriculture and available funding opportunities for Anambra women entrepreneurs, the need to reclaim the homes from current invasion on morality, and to also ask the women to support her husband’s development plan in the state.

She will also seek stronger collaboration with them in order to ensure that no Anambra woman, irrespective of political, social or religious affiliation, is left behind in the present journey.

The Governor’s wife shall be joined by the Deputy Governor’s wife, Mrs. Oluchi Ibezim, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs. Ify Obinabo, and other important dignitaries .
