The Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu has called for Public Private Partnership in order to launch the establishment to the next level
Sir Chido made the call in Awka when he led members of ABS IGR Think Tank Committee to a familiarization visit to the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Shield Security Company, Mr Jeff Nweke.
Sir Chido who said that his administration is poised to meet the charge by Mr Governor Chukwuma Soludo to give him a media organization that is responsible, professional and profitable.
The ABS boss who thanked Mr Nweke for hosting him, also commended his magnanimity and contributions to community security and philanthropic gestures to the society.
He further explained his plans and strategies to reposition the state’s broadcast outfit.
Responding, and Mr Nweke who expressed passion for the welfare of the state, assured that he will continue to contribute significantly in areas of security through his outfit as a way of giving back to the society.
He praised ABS for its interesting and alluring contents and promised to synergize with the establishment for its repositioning.
In their remarks, the Secretary, ABS IGR Think Tank Committee, Comrade Stella Igboka and another staff, Mr. Emeka Okeke, commended Mr Nweke for welcoming them and shared some areas of collaboration with his company.
The event featured presentation of plaque of appreciation to Mr Nweke by ABS.
