The Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra State Sir Norbert Obi has called on the citizenry to join hands with the newly appointed Transition Committee Chairmen of the twenty-one Local Government Areas for grassroots development.

 

Sir Norbert gave the charge during the inauguration of Transition Committee members at the Ekwusigo Council Headquarters Ozubulu.

He stressed the need for the maximization of the opportunity for rapid development of the four communities in the area.

 

Inaugurating the councilors, the Transition Committee Chairman, Mr Chimezie Obi, charged them to be committed in translating Governor Soludo’s policy for a livable and prosperous Homeland and warned members against corruption.

Speaking at the event the member representing Ekwusigo Constituency in the State House of Assembly Mr Onyebuchi Offor, charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

 

The Head of Local Government Administration Mrs Euchria Okoye in a remark advocated unity of purpose among them for enhanced development.

Some stakeholders and former Local Government Council Chairmen Chief Jude Mbaegbu and Mr Ikenna Ofodeme reminded them of the need to live up to government expectations.

 

Speaking to the ABS one of the Councilors, Mr Aloyisious Anigbogu promised to deliver.

Administration of oath of office by Mr Odira Ebube featured at the event.
