Rotary Club of Awka GRA in collaboration with Green Environment and Climate Change Initiative has advocated more tree planting across Nigeria to promote environmental health and economic benefits.

Speaking during the exercise, which attracted staff of the ABS and members of Rotary International, the President of Rotary Club of Awka GRA, Rotarian Elvis Amadi disclosed that the tree planting exercise is a major focus of Rotary International as trees contribute to the environment by providing oxygen and improving air quality, among others.
