Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, has congratulated General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, former Military President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the occasion of his eighty first birthday.
Governor Soludo noted that as a former Military President of Nigeria and an Army General who is now retired, attaining the age of eighty-one years is deserving of celebration and gratitude to God.
In a release signed on behalf of the Governor by his Press Secretary Mr Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo said that as the erstwhile Military President of Nigeria and an elder statesman, he heartily congratulates him on this milestone achievement of attaining the age of eighty-one years.
On behalf of his family, the government and the people of Anambra state,the Governor wished the former president the very best on his eighty first birthday.
General Ibrahim Babangida, a retired Nigerian Military General, served as Military President from 1985 until his resignation in 1993.
