Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, has called on youths in the state to channel their talents and abilities into profitable ventures that will announce them to the world.

The Commissioner made the call when he welcomed a young artist, Mr. Chinonso Dimsteve, who was in his office at the Jerome Udoji State Secretariat Awka to present to the Commissioner, a portrait of him rendered in pencils, courtesy of Chief Information Officer in the Ministry, Mr Emma Ikegwuani.

Sir Paul, who praised the skills the artist displayed in the portrait, described it as a great talent to have come from a youth in the state, whom he said rather than spend time hatching ignoble acts, chose to carve a goodwill for himself by putting his talent into good use.

He added that renowned artists like Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh and others in the field of creative display started small just as Mr. Dimsteve has started, and later became famous all over the World, and thanked the Chief Information Officer for recognizing that the young artist has a talent to showcase.

While thanking the Information Commissioner for his good wishes, Mr Dimsteve said that his inspiration has been his passion for Fine Arts, adding that his works have helped him make name and earn living, among other benefits.

The young artist advised youths of his age to use their God given talents to recreate the world and make it a better place to live in.
