The ongoing palliative work on some failed portions of federal roads by the Anambra state government has continued to attract commendation for some community leaders across the State.
According to one of the community leaders in Anambra State and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Boniface Egbutu, the palliative work on some failed portions of federal roads by the present administration is a clear indication that Professor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to improving the living standards of the people.
He called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support to the State government by paying the tax and levies promptly to enable the government to serve them better.
Chief Egbutu used the opportunity to appeal to the State government to extend the palliative work currently going on at the Awka road Onitsha to new Market road that leads to Main Market for enhanced vehicular movement and business transactions.
On the thirty-first year anniversary of Anambra State coming up on twenty-seventh August, Chief Egbutu who described it as a period that calls for sober reflection urged Ndi Anambra to see the development of the State as a collective responsibility.
He called on the citizenry to always protect government facilities in their various communities against vandalization.
