Anambra State Government has felicitated with five of its sons and daughters recently conferred with the title of the Fellow of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR.
The governing council of the NIPR, recently admitted Professor Kate Omenugha, Professor Angela Nwammuo, Dr. Ogonna Anunike, Dr. Ozioma Nwankwo, Reverend Father Professor Boniface Obiefuna, and Mr. Obini Onuchukwu from Ebonyi State as fellows of the institute.
According to a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Mr. Christian Aburime, Governor Chukwuma Soludo said the award confirmed them as celebrated professional public relations experts in Nigeria and that they have distinguished selves in the art of perception management, become fountains of knowledge and exemplary senior citizens, whom younger generations will find inspiration from.
He made it clear that the state has the highest number of distinguished personalities conferred with the rank of “Fellows” in this year’s award and charged them to accept the conferment of the NIPR Fellowship Award as a higher calling to serve their fatherland.
