Positive reactions have continued to trail the thirty first anniversary of Anambra State.
Most of the respondents who spoke with Abuchi Nwozor maintained that the state which was created on August 27, 1991 has recorded series of achievements.
One of them who is the traditional Ruler of Nise in Awka South Local Government Area, Igwe Romanus Iloh, while paying glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the state, equally extolled the performances of various administrations in Anambra State including the military that set the Pace of development in Anambra State.
Contributing, a front line Industrialist and a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Osita Ezechukwu described the thirty first anniversary of Anambra State as one that calls for sober reflection.
Chief Ezechukwu who is a Community leader in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area, called on affluent individuals in Anambra State to bring part of their investments home for enhanced development of the state.
He Commended the past Governors of Anambra State, especially former Governor Willie Obiano for the construction of an international passenger and cargo Airport at Umueri and Governor Chukwuma Soludo for having a different approach to Governance and called on the people to continue with their support to the present administration in Anambra State with prompt payment of tax and levies.
For the coordinator All Soludo support group in Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Obi Ochije Modilim, the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo is consolidating on the achievements already recorded in Anambra State especially in the area of human capital development.
Chief Ochije Modilim who is a Community leader in Awka said that at thirty-one, Anambra State has continued to make indelible mark in the world history through purposeful and people oriented governance.
He Commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for series of palliative work on some roads across the state which he said is a clear testament that the Governor is committed to the welfare of the people.
