The Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji has encouraged Ndi Anambra to uphold their culture since it identifies the people.
Commissioner Onyenji gave the advice during a cultural event at IgboUkwu, in Aguata local Government Area.
The Commissioner reminded Ndi Anambra that Governor Chukwuma Soludo wants them to invest in organic Agriculture to improve their living standards and contribute to the state’s economy.
He urged every one Anambrato support the administration of Governor Soludo in order to take the state to an enviable height.
Commissioner Onyenji described new yam festival as Igbo culture that must be promoted to attract tourists into the state.
He called for the promotion of Igbo Cultural heritages, values, traditions and norms as it will help in shaping the characters of the younger generation.
