A Curate at Saint Mary’s Anglican Church, Nri, Reverend Chukwunonso Kwulunebe has called on Christians to avail themselves for God to empower them to do exploits.

 

Reverend Kwulunebe who made the call during today’s service said that as Christians, there is need for them use their resources to serve God and humanity.

Reverend Kwulunebe whose sermon centered on’Doing Exploits For God’ noted that being dedicated and persistence to the things of God will give one grace to act extra ordinarily as God will bless all that concerns the person reminding the parishioners that the greatest thing in life is the love of God and neighbours.

 

A visiting priest at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Awka, Reverend Father Pio-Anthony Okafor, challenged Christians to have a personal encounter with God and commune with him at all times.

Reverend Father Okafor who stated this during a homily while celebrating mass, said it is expected of all to create time out of their daily activities to spend with their maker and whatsoever they asked for should be given to them.

 

He encouraged the parishioners to seek for God’s wisdom, allow his spirit to direct and guide them and advised that if they did allow the word of God to be seen in them, they will attain heaven at last.

Also, at the Kingdom of Grace International Ministry, Awka, the minister, Reverend Top Felix saidthat proper planning and God’s directives are the only instrument that leads to success in life.

 

Reverend Felix maintained that one needs to be focused, eschew double mindedness and be closer to God while they run away from envy, pride and bitterness so as to be stable in all aspects of life.

Series of prayers were offered in all the churches visited to welcome ember months.
