Ahead of the September sixteenth schedule for the Anambra Fashion Expo 2022, Anambra Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo says the fashion show will unlock the untapped potential of many Anambra youths who are passionate about the growing and lucrative fashion industry.

 

Mrs Soludo who stated this while assessing preparations for the show, said that she believed the fashion expo would revolutionize the fashion ecosystem in Anambra State, and give young talents a broad showcase opportunity.

The Anambra Fashion Expo 2022, is a brainchild of Aorah Brand, a multinational clothing line owned by Ms Adaora Soludo, which has made an incredible foray into the Nigerian and European fashion markets within the last few years.

Local fashion critics have described the expo as one of the biggest local platforms for up-and-coming fashion enthusiasts in South East Nigeria

The event which will be held in Awka, Anambra’s capital city, will bring together the entire local fashion cycle in one place at a time, with approximately one thousand persons in attendance and millions of others who would follow virtually from all over the world.

According to the Governor’s wife, Anambra State boasts of abundant youth talents, who have what it takes to compete keenly with their peers globally.

Mrs Soludo noted that the Anambra Fashion Expo 2022 will rejuvenate the whole fashion trend in the State and the South East in general, with spillover effects on the country as a whole, explaining that the inclusiveness and considerate planning for the event will give room for all talents to excel.

The Governor’s wife asked Anambra youths and emerging fashion talents based in the State to capitalize on the opportunity to showcase their crafts to global observers.

Ms Adaora Soludo, who had earlier given a brief on the event, said that the Anambra Fashion Expo is one of her ways of supporting Governor Soludo’s Anambra-first policy, emphasizing that the show will reinvigorate Anambra’s entertainment and tourism base and rejig the interests of Anambra youths in fashion and productivity.

The show’s theme, “In Between Time for All Times”, captures emerging trends and creativities in the industry and how young talents can maximize them.
