The Anambra State Community Association in Thailand has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Anambra State government in providing international training for youths in the areas of agribusiness and information technology.

 

The group expressed its readiness in a press release jointly signed by the President of the association, Mr Charles Okoye and the Secretary General, Mr Isaac Egwuonwu after an extraordinary meeting of the association where the new executive of the association emerged.

 

While congratulating Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his inauguration as the sixth democratically elected governor of the State, it explained that the new executive of Anambra State Community Association in Thailand have truly examined the Soludo administration and found that it is truly ready to deliver on its mandate to build a prosperous and liveable homeland, decided to extend its hands of fellowship to the state government.

 

The statement explained that the association having trained and empowered many Ndi Anambra who are resident in Thailand to obtain skills and currently running different successful agro-based factories in the South Asian country are capable to provide the state and her youths the required support in agribusiness training.

 

It explained that it can also facilitate Anambra and Thailand student exchange programme that will empower Anambra youths to acquire skills in different fields in information technology and other technical areas while being exposed to other opportunities available.

 

The association praised Governor Soludo for his sustained efforts to restore people’s confidence in governance.

 

Meanwhile, members of the new executive of the Anambra State Community Association In Thailand in an election described by International observers as commendable and to be emulated are the President, Mr Chukwuneye Okoye, Vice President Mr. Marshall Helix the General Secretary, Mr Isaac Egwuonwu, the Financial Secretary, Mr. Chigbogu Ezuenagu and the treasurer, Mr Chukwuemeka Obi.

 

Others are Welfare officer, Dr. Arinze Udeagbala, the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Okwuchukwu Iwuchukwu, the Speaker, Mr Obinna Okeke, the Provost, Mr. Okechukwu Eze and the assistant Provost, Mr. Anyadike Emenike-Oba

 

The new executive also have Mr Uchenna Nwadibe as welfare officer two, Chief Chukwuebuka Muoneke as provost two, Mr. Daniel Sotochukwu Sergeant at arms, Mr. Obiemezie Okeke Sergeant at arms two and Mr. Chukwuka Chukwuemeka Welfare officer Three.
