Governor Chukwuma Soludo has inaugurated the reconstruction of the twenty-six kilometer, Amansea-Awba Ofemili Road which is expected to be completed in sixteen months.

He thanked them for their support, adding that his administration will touch every part of the State especially the hard-to-reach areas.

 

The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Mr Emmanuel Ucheze in his speech noted that Awka North will feel a sense of belonging once the road is completed and also help to harness the economic potential of the area.

He assured of the support of the people of Awka North Local Government Area towards ensuring that the governor’s agenda of building a liveable and prosperous homeland is achieved.

 

The Commissioner for Works, Mr Ifeanyi Okoma while addressing the gathering assured of quality roads that will stand the taste of time.

The Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter, Mr Emeka Obi in his remark noted that Awka North Local Government Area is blessed with fertile land for agriculture and expressed optimism that the area will blossom once the road is completed.

 

He encouraged Governor Soludo to keep making Anambra youth’s proud, promising their unalloyed support.

 

Present at the event were the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, some stakeholders in Awka North Local Government Area including the Commissioner for Homeland Affairs, Chief Chikodi Anara, the State Auditor of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Mr Tony Dunga, among others.
