Igbo stakeholders have been urged to Intensify efforts in sensitising and mobilizing the electorate who have registered to collect their permanent voter cards.
Speaking in Awka, the Vice President of á»haneze Ndigbo worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene, said everybody above eighteen years should see participation in the electoral process as a civic responsibility.

Chief Okeke Ogene called on eligible voters anywhere in the country who have already registered to collect their Permanent Voter Cards to ensure that they equip themselves properly to participate in the electoral process to contribute in enthroning good and people oriented governance in the country.
He urged the governments of the South East Zone to put in place measures that would make presentation of PVCs a requisite for certain privileges to encourage eligible voters to make out time to collect their cards from INEC offices and reminded Nigerians that inability to vote in elections is disservice to the society.
Chief Okeke Ogene explained that with Permanent Voter Cards, the electorate could actualize the desired change and enthrone leadership of their choice as well as contribute towards making the dream of good governance in the country a reality.
Also speaking, the National Patron and member of the Board of Trustees Anambra Demand for Soludo, Chief Henry Igboeli, urged community leaders and other stakeholders to join hands in mobilising people in their areas to participate actively in the elections.
Chief Igboeli charged youths to champion the course to enthrone a responsive governance that will protect their future and use available resources to provide opportunities for collective welfare of Nigerians.
