The Archdeacon, Adazi-Ani Archdeaconry and Vicar Saint Judes Anglican Church, Adazi-Ani, Venerable Chris Nkem-Okafor says God is interested in the life of the Christians therefore, they should live according to the tenets of the scripture.
Venerable Nkem-Okafor who stated this during his sermon which has its theme as ‘Godly Living’, attributed love, faith and love as perfect qualities that will lead one to a righteous living and inheriting God’s kingdom at the last day.
He noted that once the people start living according to the teachings of the bible, positively and righteously, the worse situation experienced in life will be a thing of the past calling on the parishioners to hold onto their faith.
The Resident Priest, Saint Mathew’s Catholic Parish, Amawbia, Reverend Father Kenneth Amakaeze has reminded Christians of their stewardship on earth so as not to be found wanting at the past day.
Reverend Father Amakaeze who stated this in a homily said that every wealth or possession acquired in life came from God therefore, it should be used for his service bearing in mind that they will give account of their stewardship.
He told the parishioners to repent from their sins as according to him, no one knows the time they will answer their maker’s call advising that they should not derive joy in early praise.
