The Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi, Chief Elijah Onyeagba has reiterated his commitment to giving Nigerians effective and quality representation.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Abuchi Nwozor on the Nations sixty-second Independence anniversary, Ambassador Onyeagba who is from Anambra State maintained that as the Nigerian envoy to the Republic of Burundi, he will keep opening channels of dialogue with Nigerians and Burundians, with a view to fostering a closer and harmonious coexistence for both countries.
Ambassador Onyeagba while paying glowing tribute to all those that fought for the Nigerian Independence in 1960, called on Nigerians to see the development of the country as a collective responsibility and charged religious leaders and the entire populace to continue to pray for those in leadership positions.
He reminded the citizenry of the need to always patronize made in Nigeria Products in order to boost the Nation’s Gross Domestic Product.
The Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi while extending his felicitations to President Muhammadu Buhari, the leadership of the National Assembly and all the State Governors called on Nigerians to always imbibe those virtues that will continue to unite and uplift the country.
Ambassador Onyeagba said that as part of the activities lined up by the embassy to mark the sixty-second Independence anniversary of Nigeria in the Republic of Burundi, an event titled Run Buja was organized for Nigerians in Burundi to run a ten-point five-kilometer race to discover good and promising athletes.
