The Awka Catholic Diocesan Secretary, Reverend Father Evaristus Ifeanacho says deeper faith in God is an instrument for a successful life as well as eternal life.
He made this known at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka during a thanksgiving mass for the Knights of the church.
Reverend Father Ifeanacho noted that faith draws one nearer to God, adding that as Christians, faith should play an important role in their lives for it will make them stand strong in the face of difficulties, hardship and intimidations.
The Catholic priest reminded Christians that faith without work is nothing and that their faith in God should reflect in their day-to-day activities.
He further asked the congregation to open their hearts and embrace God, follow his paths in righteousness and ensure that all their dealings are in line with the directives of how to attain the kingdom of God.
Special prayers and thanksgiving climaxed the mass.
