The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has charged Christians to show love to one another without boundaries.

In a sermon at Saint Peter’s Parish Igboukwu in Aguata Local Government Area during a service of confirmation and admission into Girls guild and Mother’s union for all the Parishes under Igboukwu Archdeaconry, Bishop Ezeofor maintained that Christians should show love to their fellow being by making the love and fear of God their priority.

Bishop Ezeofor, who charged Christians to always see every mortal as their neighbor, reminded them of the need to love and pray for their enemies.

He described every Christian as an enemy of God, despite the fact that God sent His son Jesus Christ to die for the salvation of Mankind, to make them true children of God.

Right Reverend Ezeofor urged those in leadership positions to show their followers Love by making policies that will impact positively on their lives., reminding them that one day they will give account of their stewardship.

He urged those that received the sacrament of confirmation and those admitted into Girl’s Guild and Mother’s union not to see such an ordinary ceremony but an additional responsibility in their heavenly race and that of winning souls for Christ.

In their various remarks the Archdeacon of Igboukwu Archdeaconry Venerable Emmanuel Nwankwo and Vicar of Saint Peter’s Parish Igboukwu Reverend Uzochukwu Mojekwu reminded Christians of the need to be role models.

One hundred and fifty-one candidates received the sacrament of confirmation, forty-one Girls admitted into the Girls guild, and thirty-eight women admitted into the Mother’s union during the service which was attended by the president of Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor and some Diocesan officials.
