The Archdeacon on the Lake Archdeaconry Agulu, Venerable Silas Ike has cautioned Christians against disobedience.
Venerable Ike gave the advice in a sermon at Saint Stephen’s Parish Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area.
Venerable Ike who spoke on the topic ‘ Remember Thy Lord, Your God’ encouraged all never to walk against their Creator.
He advised the youths to focus on all that the Lord can do in their lives, trust and believe in Him.
On his part, the Parish Priest of Saint Mathew’s Parish Amawbia in Awka South Local Government Area Reverend Father Michael Onwukaike stressed the need for Christians to be humble and show gratitude to God at all times.
Reverend Father Onwukaike noted that it is important that everyone created should utilize the opportunity given by God to prepare for eternity.
Also, at the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphin, Amudo Awka, Pastor Chris Nwankwo on the theme’ Choose the right way to the Lord, said that the only way to life is Jesus Christ.
Pastor Nwankwo reminded the church that destruction will follow them if they live according to their way of life.
Correspondent Amaka Chibuzor Okoye reports that prayers to usher in the newn month of November in peace formed the highlights of the service.
