The Anambra State Peoples Democratic Party PDP Campaign Council for the 2023 General Elections has been inaugurated.
The event had in attendance top members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State and members of the party’s Campaign Council for the 2023 General Elections drawn from all the electoral wards across the state.
The Director-General of the campaign Council Chief Obiora Okonkwo during the inaugural ceremony described Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the best man for the presidential seat and one with the interest of Ndi Igbo at heart.
In a speech the Chairman of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council for the Peoples Democratic Party Senator Ben Ndi Obi charged the newly inaugurated members of the council to be alive to their responsibilities, especially in delivering the Presidential candidate and other individuals seeking political positions within the Peoples Democratic Party platform in all polling units across the State in the 2023 general elections.
Senator Ndi Obi assured all members of the party of inclusiveness, pointing out that victory of the Peoples Democratic Party in the election should be the target of all the party faithful.
On their parts, the South-East Technical Adviser for the 2023 Campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party Chief Dan Ulasi, and a stakeholder in the party, Mrs Josephine Anini advised aggrieved members of the party to forgive and combine efforts to ensure the party’s victory in the next year’s general election.
