Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji has announced the receipt of design presentation from various architects for the development of Agulu Lake Leisure Park.

 

Commissioner Onyenjidisclosed this while addressing Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU, at its secretariat at the government house Awka.

 

According to Commissioner Onyenji, the twenty-six hectares of land would be used to build a world class recreational center that will attract more tourists and investors into the state.

 

While calling on all communities in the state to provide land for rural tourism where people can go and socialize, Commissioner Onyenji commended ASATU national president for submitting the list of some heritage sites to his office.

 

The Commissioner further informed them of the festival of Arts and Culture his ministry is about to host urging those, who have cultural artifacts to use the opportunity to showcase their art works.

 

On his part, the ASATU National President, Barrister Titus Akpudo, promised on behalf of the association to continue to support and partner the ministry to ensure the success of the state.
