Anaocha Local Government Area has concluded a three day free intensive skill acquisition training on make up for the youths of the local government.
The training which took place at the local government headquarters, Neni, saw thirteen of the participants with exceptional performance empowered with starter kits as over one hundred youths were trained in the course of the exercise.
The training participated mostly by women selected from across the communities that make up the council area was to equip those who has passion for makeover business with right skills to excel in their chosen career courtesy of Prince Ikenna Onyesoh, Regent of Nri Kingdom.
The training was flagged of by the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on youth empowerment programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha.
In his closing remark, the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha council area, Mr Ikechukwu Ozoh, said that the program is in line with Governor Soludo’s one youth two skills initiative meant to empower every Anambra youth with at least two skills.
He thanked the benefactor, Prince Ikenna Onyesoh for his gesture and called for other well-meaning ndi Anaocha to emulate him to promote Public Community Private Partnership model of Governor Chukwuma Soludo meant to foster sustainable community development.
The Benefactor, Prince Ikenna Onyesoh on his part tasked the beneficiaries with greater commitment to expand what they have learnt.
He said that youths which are the foundation of any society need to be empowered and prepared to engage the future with a unique mind and commended Governor Soludo’s passion on youth engagement and development.
For Mrs Chiamaka Ozoh, such priceless opportunity does not come always as she advised the beneficiaries to become employers of labour through consistency and hard work.
Some of the participants including Ms Chioma Ogbozor from Neni and Blessing Eyisi from Adazi Ani while expressing their profound gratitude to the organizers and sponsor of the program. promised to impact the society positively using the training and empowerment as the foundation.
The training consultant, Ms Lola Adekunle who testified that many creative talents are embedded in them encouraged them to be steadfast and promised continuous support to help them become global brands.
