Anambra Stakeholders have commended the state’s 2023 budget proposal, expressing hope that the state will wax stronger under the leadership of Professor Chukwuma Soludo when well implemented.

 

 

 

The reactions came from those that spoke to the ABS shortly after presentation of the 2023 budget proposal by the state Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the state House of Assembly in Awka.

 

 

 

The National President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU, Barrister Titus Akpaudo, and President Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra state chapter, Prince Emeka Udodeme, described the Anambra 2023 budget as budget of hope, as according to them, all the senatorial districts in the state are well represented, calling on members of the state House of Assembly to expedite action for speedy passage of the budget for all round positive transformation of the state.

 

 

 

On his part, the Member representing Njikoka, Anaocha, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, and APGA flag bearer for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the next year’s elections, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, adjudged the budget as a well-articulated and budget of the people, pointing out that the budget if implemented, will aid the acceleration of development of all sectors of the state’s economy.

 

 

 

Speaking, the Traditional Ruler of Ifiteogwarri, Igwe Alphonsus Ofuebe commended Governor Soludo for adequately accommodating the interest of the poor masses in the budget, observing that Anambra will move forward with the implementation of the over two hundred and sixty-billion-naira budget.
