The Anambra Central Senatorial District Campaign Coordinating Council of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has been inaugurated, to ensure landslide victory of the party across the state in the forthcoming general elections.
The inauguration, which took place in Awka, had in attendance, top party members within the senatorial district.
While inaugurating the council, Governor Chukwuma Soludo asked them to perfectly play their roles in the forthcoming general elections and be focused on the mandate of ensuring APGA’s victory.
Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, while emphasizing on the need for all APGA Faithful to combine efforts and deliver the party in the next year’s elections for all round development of the state, called on Ndi Anambra to continue to support his administration for the realization of his plans and visions for the state.
Speaking, the chairman of the council, Chief Tony Omeligwe-Eleh, thanked the Governor, who is the leader of the party for giving them the opportunity to serve in such capacity, assuring that they will do the needful to ensure all round victory for APGA across the state.
Chief Omeligwe-Eleh emphasized the need for Ndi Anambra to vote massively for APGA Candidates, as according to him, the party has formidable candidates to adequately represent the interests of the people both at the federal and state levels.
For some APGA Candidates from the district, including the member representing Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency and the party’s flag bearer for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, and the Awka North APGA Candidate for the state Assembly, Mr. Chimezie Ikwunne, Ndi Anambra Central should vote for them and other APGA Candidates to fast-track development and ensure equitable distribution of democracy dividends in the state.
