The chairman, Anambra State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu has called on journalists to add more investigation and courage in their reportage as a way to correct the social ills that prevail in today’s society.
Dr Odogwu made the call during the last congress of the union for the year, 2022, held at the union’s secretariat in Awka.
The Anambra NUJ Chairman while pointing out that for the society to be prosperous and habitable for all, that journalists must be bold and fearless to fight against evil with their reportage, encouraged journalists to rise to the occasion for the interest of all.
Dr Odogwu, who expressed happiness for the love and unity amongst members of the union, commended them for their cooperation and commitment to their duty as the watchdog of the society, and prayed for a fruitful 2023 for the union and its members.
