The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr. Ossy Onuko has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the successful recruitment and issuance of appointment letters to about five thousand teachers employed by his administration.
Mr. Onuko gave the commendation after the Governor had performed the symbolic presentation of the letters to the beneficiaries at the International Conference Centre in Awka.
He maintained that what the Governor has done is to re-assure Ndi Anambra and the residents of the State once again, that he is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises.
Mr. Onuko appealed to the newly recruited teachers to justify their appointments by being dedicated to duty and ensure that the State maintains her lead in education not just in Nigeria, but across the globe.
He thanked Governor Soludo for prioritizing education and expressed optimism that as former Central Bank Governor he has all it takes to make Anambra a prosperous and livable homeland.
