A special valedictory session has been held in the Anambra State House of Assembly for late Honourable Silver Nwaobualor.
The late Nwaobuaor was a two time member of the old Anambra State House of Assembly and represented Njikoka South Central Constituency.
It was a moment of sober reflection as members of the Anambra State House of Assembly paid their last respect to the late legislator with his immediate family adorned in black attire depicting the mournful mood.
In his tribute to the family of the deceased, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor described the late legislator as a consummate politician and renowned public servant who used his various positions to improve the living standards of the masses and left legacies worthy of emulation in various spheres of life and enjoined his family to be consoled in the fact that he lived a modest and principled life.
In their various tributes, the member representing Anaocha One Constituency, Honourable Ebele Ejiofor and his Anaocha Two Constituency counterpart, Honourable Ejike Okechukwu described the late Nwaobualor as a dogged politician and great achiever who tutored many lawmakers in the field of politics and contributed immensely to the development of Anambra State.
The member representing Njikoka Two Constituency, Dr. Pete Ibida while pouring encomiums on the deceased, described him as a political brain box and a pragmatic leader who did things in sequence.
Also speaking, the Deputy Majority Leader of the House, Honourable Emeka Aforka and the member representing Nnewi North Constituency, Honourable Nonso Okafor called on his family to immortalize him by keeping his legacies alive.
In a vote of thanks, one of the family members of the deceased, Mr. Nduka alor thanked God for the life of his brother and the House for honouring him.
