This Month’s environmental sanitation exercise will take place tomorrow Saturday, December seventeenth, 2022 from seven o’clock to ten o’ clock in the morning, in order to prepare the Anambra environment for the yuletide.
According to a release signed by the Managing Director of Anambra State Waste Management Authority, Mr Mike Ozoemena, all residents of Anambra are encouraged to participate fully in the exercise by cleaning their surroundings and desilting all water channels.
The statement noted that all forms of human or vehicular movements are prohibited within the hours of the exercise as offenders will be apprehended and sanctioned accordingly.
It further reminded Ndi Anambra of the state government’s policy on door-to-door collection of refuse and enjoined everyone to neatly bag their wastes and leave them in front of their homes for adequate disposal by the state waste management body.
