Anambra State Executive Council has approved the award of contract for the construction of the two point one-four kilometers Igwe Ezechi Okoye Road, Ifitedunu in Dunukofia Local Government Area for the sum of one billion, three hundred and twenty-one Million, three hundred and fifty-eight thousand, two hundred- and sixty-two-naira, sixty kobo only.
The contract was awarded to Master Holdings Nigeria Limited, and the completion period is six months from the date of payment of mobilization fee.
It also approved the award of contract for the supply and installation of Hybrid Solar Powered Mini-Grid at eleven Locations for thirty Courtrooms in High Courts of Anambra State Judiciary Division.
The contract was awarded to P.V.S Resources Nigeria Limited at a contract sum of One Hundred and Seventy-Seven Million, Six Hundred and Ninety Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ninety-Five Naira within a completion period of six weeks.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Information Sir Paul Nwosu said government also approved the award of contract of Three Hundred and Seventy-Five Million, Four Hundred and Eighty-Nine Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Seven Naira, Seventy-Five Kobo, for the supply and installation of five hundred and sixty-three All-In-One Solar Powered Streetlights at Okpoko Community of Ogbaru Local Government Area.
The contract was awarded to El-Bukeiz Nigeria Limited and the completion period is eight weeks.
According to the release, the government equally approved the award of contract worth Eighty Million Naira for the conduct of Hydro-Geological and Hydrological Mapping and Modelling of Anambra State.
The contract was awarded to a consortium of consultants under Tona Geological Consultants Nigeria Limited and the completion period is twelve weeks.
