The Anambra state Head of Service, Barrister Okwy Igwegbe, has received the “Key Contributor Award” for her immense contributions to the growth and development of the various facets of the government, especially the Ministry of Lands.

 

The recognition was given to her by the Anambra state Ministry of Lands during her award giving and end of the year ceremony held at the Ministry in Awka.

 

Receiving the award, the Head of Service, Barrister Igwegbe, thanked the Commissioner for Lands for the recognition while encouraging his efforts and thoughtfulness.

 

 

Barrister Igwegbe noted that it was the combined efforts of the Commissioner, the Permanent Secretary and the staff working as a team that yielded the successes being celebrated.

 

The Civil Service boss called on workers to always remain dedicated at all times in the discharge of their duties as good efforts would always find its way to limelight.

 

Barrister Igwegbe extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for being a forthright leader who only believes in excellent and open governance.

 

Earlier while presenting the award, the Commissioner for Lands, Professor Offornze Amucheazi, Commended the dedication of the Head of Service to the development of the Ministry noting that her sincerity of purpose remained second to none.

 

Professor Amucheazi noted that since he assumed duty as the Commissioner for Lands, the HOS has remained supportive and has always been just a call away from assisting at all points.

 

There were also other workers who were presented with excellent performance awards in the Ministry by Barrister Igwegbe.
